"Truescreen" Assists ELSSI’s Int’l Drug Screening Program for the Shipping Industry

As of July 12, 2005 – Truescreen, Inc ., with locations in Southampton, Pa., and Marlton, N.J a leading provider of employee screening services to corporations and organizations worldwide, have formed a strategic drug screening services partnership with ELSSI, a Greece–based provider of global substance abuse programs to shipping and industry.

Through the partnership, "Truescreen" performs drug screening services–including onsite collection, laboratory services, and medical review–for ship crew members and safety–sensitive worker positions in the U.S., Canada, and Virgin Islands. For drug screening in other regions of the world, ELSSI currently uses its own international collection network with collection sites in 70 countries.

"Truescreen" assists ELSSI with pre–employment, post–accident, reasonable suspicion, and random drug and alcohol testing, as well as benzene testing of ship employees. Truescreen’s comprehensive drug testing resources include a pool of more than 5,000 collection sites and onsite collectors, affiliations with multiple laboratory service providers, and an in–house team of medical review officers.

In order to continue offering a comprehensive Substance Abuse Management Program, ELSSI’s long–term strategy involves maintaining an efficient service infrastructure, stringent quality management and most of all customized solutions based on its expertise in the shipping industry.
